La Terra Del Rimorso communicates the artist’s iconoclastic vision with ten multi-coloured, deeply textural works that weave a careful thread between the old and new school traditions.
Moving effortlessly between the introspective and frenetic, Divide explores an architecture of sound ranging from sparse and tonal ambient works to dense and destructive sequences, complemented by carefully distorted percussion. Divide’s approach to synthesis imbues sound with organic themes of life and death – textures appear to bloom, transmutate, and erode before the listener.
The LP is tied together by this signature sound design: boundary-pushing to the extreme, emotionally ambiguous, and deadly accurate.
