The guest in this episode is a London based artist, Arnas. Hailing from Vilnius, Lithuania, Arnas’ passage into underground music was built upon his formative time spent on London’s dancefloors.
Drawing inspiration from a childhood background in jazz, his work navigates a mixture of personal influences with clean, low-end grooves, off-beat rhythms, moody and mental melodies and layered hi-hats to craft effective dancefloor experiences: directed by ethereal atmospheres and driving rhythms.
Arnas’ sound is most inspired by the marathon sets from masters of the craft such as DVS1, Takaaki Itoh and Peter Van Hoesen, as well as the new breed of fast and groovy techno that has been making waves in the scene recently.
